The approach road

From SDQ the run is Las Américas highway east, past San Pedro and La Romana, then the Coral highway to Bávaro — 2 h 45 min to 3 h 15 min with tolls. The last kilometre is the complex service road, where security logs the hotel name before the barrier lifts.

From the SDQ exit to your door

Where the car stops

Under the reception canopy of Selection Bávaro itself. Departing guests wait in the air-conditioned lobby and the driver comes inside with a name sign rather than calling from the road.

Departure: when to leave the hotel

For an SDQ flight, leave the lobby about four and a half hours before departure: 03:30 for an 08:00 take-off, 08:30 for a 13:00. Punta Cana (PUJ) is only about 25 minutes away if your return ticket goes from there.

What is around it

Bávaro beach runs straight from the pool decks, the Iberostar complex has its own shops and evening theatre, El Cortecito's beach bars and craft stalls are about ten minutes by car, and Palma Real and San Juan shopping centres are fifteen.
