How the SDQ airport pickup works
Where the driver waits at Las Américas, how delays and flight tracking work, child seats, villa gates, and payment at the end of the ride.

The terminal
Las Américas sits at Punta Caucedo, roughly 25–30 km east of the colonial city on the Autopista Las Américas.

Immigration, baggage, customs
Show the e-ticket QR, collect your bags, pass the customs scanner. Wheels-down to curb is 30–60 minutes; two wide-bodies landing together can push it toward an hour.

The driver with your sign
He waits inside the arrivals hall with your name printed. You do not call anyone from the plane and you do not look for a taxi.

Leaving the airport
Into the city on the Autopista Las Américas, tolls already in the price. Heading east or to the Cibao we take the Autopista del Coral or the Duarte.
The things people always ask
Night 22:00–04:00
Same price. No night surcharge and no re-quote at the curb.
Touts and hall taxis
There are offers of help and taxi desks in arrivals. That is exactly why the name sign and the written WhatsApp price exist.
Uber in Santo Domingo
It works better than at PUJ inside the city, but arrivals collection is still messy and it is not a fixed pre-booked price.
Departure pickup
We collect at the lobby, the apartment door or the villa gate, at a time confirmed against your departure flight.
Child seats
Free, installed before pickup. Send age and weight.
Long-haul runs
Punta Cana, Samaná, Santiago and Jarabacoa include a rest stop, and we drive mountain roads slower. Check the leave-lobby buffer for your zone.

- Zona Colonial / Ciudad Colonial: Leave 3 h before an international departure (2 h 30 min off-peak).

- Piantini / Naco / Evaristo Morales: Leave 3 h before an international departure, 3 h 30 min at 7–9 am.
