Which airport: SDQ vs PUJ vs LRM

Cheaper flights into the capital can still be the right call — if you price the drive honestly.

Short answer

SDQ every time. Boca Chica $25, Zona Colonial $35, Juan Dolio $45. Nothing else is close.

Stay in Punta Cana or Bávaro

PUJ is the natural airport: the drive there is 20–40 minutes instead of nearly three hours. If the SDQ fare is cheap enough to justify a $240 transfer and three hours of road, we run it gladly — book the SDQ to Bávaro page. If you fly into PUJ, use our sister desk at pujairporttransfer.com.

Stay in La Romana, Bayahibe or Casa de Campo

LRM is closest but has few flights. SDQ is a normal choice at $130 to Casa de Campo and $140 to Bayahibe, about two hours on good highway.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book a transfer from SDQ?

Send your flight number, date, hotel or address and number of passengers on WhatsApp. You get a written confirmation with the fixed price, and the driver details the day before travel.

Do I pay in advance?

No. You pay the driver at the end of the ride in US dollars, Dominican pesos or euros. There is no deposit and no card charge when you book.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle, for 1–6 passengers, including tolls and taxes. Larger groups are quoted with additional vehicles at the same fixed zone rate.

How far in advance should I book?

A day or two is usually enough, and same-day requests often work. In high season, book a van three or four days ahead.

Is there a surcharge for night arrivals?

No. The price is the same at 03:00 as at midday, and we track your flight, so a delay does not change it either.

Ready to book?
