The 7,000-acre estate east of La Romana, with the Teeth of the Dog golf course, a marina, Altos de Chavón and hundreds of private villas. The estate is bigger than the town next to it, so 'Casa de Campo' is not an address — the villa or hotel building number is.

The approach road
From SDQ we run the Las Américas highway east through San Pedro de Macorís to La Romana, about two hours with tolls. At the estate gate security checks your name against the reservation, then the driver continues inside to your building, villa or the hotel reception.

Four hours before an international flight from SDQ: 04:00 for an 08:00 departure, because the drive alone is two hours. If you fly out of La Romana (LRM) instead, 20 minutes plus two hours is plenty.
