Two linked all-inclusive hotels above Sosúa bay, sharing a hillside plot with a stair path down to the beach. Sosúa is on the north coast, so the drive from SDQ crosses the whole island over the mountains rather than following the coast.

The approach road
Three and three-quarter to four and a half hours from SDQ: north on the Duarte highway past Bonao and La Vega, through Santiago, over the pass to the coast, then east through Puerto Plata to Sosúa. The last stretch is town streets down towards the bay.

This is a cross-island run, so leave five and a half to six hours before an SDQ flight. Many guests instead fly out of Puerto Plata (POP), 25 minutes away, and use us only for the arrival leg.

Sosúa beach is at the bottom of the stairs with its restaurant strip, Cabarete's kite beaches are 15 minutes east, Puerto Plata's cable car and old town 25 minutes west, and the POP airport 25 minutes.
